Apple Vacations is known for premium Asia tour packages, especially Japan and China, with strong reputation for curated culinary experiences and proficient booking staff. Most reviewers report smooth bookings and positive anticipation, though one family recounted a distressing trip where the tour leader's dismissive tone, rushed pace, and poor room coordination for young children undermined the experience.
Staff know their diving gear and explain options to beginners. The shop sells underwater photography equipment and handles international orders by WhatsApp, PayPal, and courier, but the physical location is tucked away and reviews note an old feel.
GSI Travel handles visa applications and curated group tours with consistent professionalism. Reviewers repeatedly credit named staff like Amenda for speedy Canada visa processing, step-by-step guidance, and reliable follow-up that reduced stress and delivered approvals. Tour groups to Guizhou and beyond attract praise for engaging guides, comfortable hotels, good meals, and well-timed itineraries that let travellers relax without feeling rushed. Owners and tour leaders are present and attentive, drivers are skillful, and language barriers do not get in the way of clear communication.
Divers consistently report feeling supported through their entire learning journey, from nervous first-timers to advancing certifications. Young, Jenn, Sky, and the dive masters earn repeated praise for patient, methodical instruction and a genuine commitment to each diver's progress. The team manages safety with clear briefings and composed problem-solving underwater, maintains reliable Scubapro gear, and adapts pacing to individual needs. Many return repeatedly for courses, local trips, and island dives, describing the experience as both educational and welcoming. Sessions range from pool refresher courses and peak buoyancy training to open water and advanced certifications, often followed by guided reef dives. Reviewers highlight how the instructors share knowledge freely, explain skills step by step, and address individual concerns during and between sessions. One diver noted nearly two years of consistently solid service across multiple local and international trips. The team has earned trust by turning stressful moments, like lost gear or NDL alarms, into teaching opportunities rather than panic.
